LiveChat is a mature brand with 18 years of experience in running an online business. It evolves constantly, responding to the needs of 28 thousand customers within hundreds of industries.
I led the redesign process reflecting the transition from a typical SaaS product to a full-fledged platform. The challenge was to create a visual system that highlights the flexibility, openness, and simplicity of all LiveChat products.
Surveys, tests, and experiments helped me to set the ground for the change. I also worked closely with customers, employees, and CXO’s to come up with definitions of the company’s mission and idea. I wanted the new brand to be fresh and modern, yet unique. I chose people-like characters to be the main theme. In the end, particularly in the customer service industry, it is people that matter the most.
Together with designers, UX/UI specialists, and developers we came up with a brand strategy, design libraries and style guides to help with rolling out the changes. Within this project, I levelled up both my illustration skills and leadership experience.
