Buffer's visual identity

Buffer offers a suite of products to manage the social media presence of businesses. It's also an organization with strong values, dedicated to advocating for inclusiveness and remote work.

My goal was to create an identity that reflects its open nature of the team’s mindset. Finding the sweet spot between friendly feel and trustworthy appearance took me multiple experiments and creative sessions. The experience I got while working on LiveChat's branding helped me to lead the process. I worked closely with Marketing Team to maximize the business impact of the new, bold identity.

I designed new logotypes for all the products and refreshed the ones for the company. I created new websites, illustrations, icons, and a variety of marketing resources. I built brand guidelines in Webflow to better coordinate work with contracted animators and web developers.

As a Marketing Designer, I often invest my time in various branding and promotional initiatives, ranging from company’s swag to visuals inside the products. I also participate in strategic conversations, run experiments and lead marketing initiatives.
